I believe the Italians made the BM 59's from M1icon Garand parts when the US came out with the M-14's. I have seen instructions on the net how to convert a M1 to one but it requires a lot of machine work. If S.A. made them they would be prototype, or test guns to use up surplus parts. It would be a rare gin if you find one.

War is an act of force and to the application of that force there is no limit! So say the philosophers (Carl von Clausewitz b 1780 d 1831) of war.

    Necat omnes! Deus suos agnoscet.

The application of the proper amount of high explosives can solve any problem.

Alot of the parts are marked PB BM59,but not BP.
PB stands for Pietro Beretta . Not all parts will be marked but some will .
Machinegunbooks is the place for BM59 info .
