A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. This could be an item that sells for whatever the seller wants to ask. They are that rare, if original. Be careful as there is a clone made and sold from time to time on eBay. It is OK in appearance and fit from all reports, but it certainly has little or no value as it relates to a M1icon-D.

An original might reasonably sell for $1000-1500 in the US. Go over to Adobe Wall's Place- WWW.GARANDITIS.COM and ask this question, as those fellows deal with rare items as part of their collecting and will likely know better what it is worth as a collectible.

A mount and scope in good condition (with post reticle) go for $1000 to $1500............it all depends on how bad you want it

There was one set up (one inch mount, Weaver K60 scope) at a gun show about 6 months ago. The seller was asking $2500. Saw it again 2 other time and the price was still $2500. He would not negotiate at all. I politely told him at that price he would have it for some time. He did not seem to care.
