    Value of a 1951 Tula SKS ?

Thinking of buying a Tula 1951 SKS
Arsenal Rebuild, #2 graded barrel, The Black Paint finish, Laminated stock.
    I'm in Northern California.
What would be a fair price to offer for it ?
Any reason to not buy it ?

    I passed on the 1951
But I am trading one of my Mini-14's for a 1953 Tula, unfired since being imported.
Still has Cosmo in the barrel

Some time during '51, the chrome barrel was introduced so later production models will have it.
