    Lee Enfield Gunsmith in Canada!

Hi everybody, this is my first post here,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a Gunsmith here in Canadaicon that specializes in Lee Enfield No.1 MK.3 restoration and modification?

    Thanks.

My wife has used SC Gunworks (click here) to repair (including new bedding) on a number of her Lee Enfield rifles. I'm not sure if they do full restorations on Enfields, but you could ask.

They do really excellent work and I'd recommend you contact Stelios there. Mention that you were referred to them by Doug and Deb in reference to your Enfields.

Stelios Chrysochou, the founder of SC Gunworks, Inc., was trained in Canadaicon as a gunsmith in the gunsmithing department of Hallam’s Sporting Goods Ltd., one of Canada’s oldest (established 1866) and largest gun shops in Canada. From 1986 to 1996, Stelios managed the gunsmithing and gun repair department of Hallam’s as its master gunsmith.

In response to an increasing demand for custom gunsmithing and the restoration of high quality firearms, Stelios established SC Gunworks, Inc. in 1996 with Peter Venet, one of Canada’s finest shotgun stock makers. A year later, Giuseppe (Joe) Bianco, was added to SC’s team of professional gunsmiths. Joe had just returned from formal gunsmith training in Gardone, Italyicon. And one year later, Gord Gimbert was enlisted to the team.

With the combined talents of all four members, SC Gunworks, Inc. is recognized as one of the finest custom gunsmith establishments in Canada. From minor repairs, to complete restoration of high-grade double guns, custom safari or target rifles, to full out competition pistols and revolvers, at SC Gunworks, Inc. you can be assured that we will exceed your expectations of detail and quality.
    Regards,
    Doug

I can personally recommend Jason Spencer at Gunco - he definitely knows gunsmithing and Lee Enfields. No website, call 613-224-6266. He's in Ottawa and is a "real" gunsmith with accreditation, a full machine shop, a real storefront, etc. and argueably one of the best gunsmiths still plying the trade in Canadaicon.
