Holster for a Luger

I have a G date Mauser manufactured Luger and I would like to find a holster for it. Did they produce one in 1935? I have kept my eyes opened for one and cannot find one. I see '34 and '36 dated ones, but never one produced in '35. Is it so rare that they are impossible to find? Any information would be greatly appreciated

Yes ... your Luger was issued with a holster. But not necessarily one numbered to the weapon. And not necessarily date stamped. Any standard black holster would be correct.

1935 dated holsters are rare, especially the military holster. If you find one, it will be pricey.

I've acquired a P08 holster that has the swastika on the back opposite the P08 side of the belt straps (on the back) it looks too new to be original and though I'm no expert I did have a 1941 that was heavily worn with a newer liner sewn in, the one I have now has med wear but some of the stitching is too white(new) to be from the 40's. I do have a new one so I only have both sides of the spectrum for comparison.

I didn't see any 1935 dated holsters. Can you get an item number or provide a link?

Try Google with 1935 Luger holster. Or just luger holster.

The chances on finding an exact date for a holster is a little remote. Pistols are switched, holsters are lost or broken, etc. Most any date would be ok.

I have a 1918 Imperial Luger with a 1939 holster. A holster was designed to hold and protect the weapon. Any date should do....

I think you are missing the point. The OP specifically asked about 1935 dated holsters. They are rare and hard to find.

Sorry, I have been away. I thought there might be a remote chance a 1935 holster does exsist. My luck they are "very rare". When I find dated holsters listed for sale there is a gap between 1934 and 1936. I would like to find one , but not to go bankrupt over. Thanks for all of the replies

Unfortunately, I only have one 1935 dated holster, so it is not for sale. I wish you luck finding one. I was lucky when I came across the one that I have.
