I need answers... Randall 1911 Magazine (Black) non-stainless

Hi, I'm a new Randall 1911 .45 owner. I know the history of the company but from what I understand, all the pistols were completely stainless. I did, however find a non-stainless .45 magazine at a gun show this weekend. It is blued or otherwise looks like any other black magazine. It does have the Randall factory stamp "Randall 45 Auto" on the bottom of the magazine.

I'm confused... Is this a common thing? Was this one of the prototype mags that they made in the beginning? Did they start off with regular steel mags and then move to stainless later?

Does anybody know? Also do you know what a mag like this is worth?

I have an A211 Randall Raider .45 Auto. It has been kept undisturbed and un-fired in a locked vault for 28 years. I recently purchased it about 3 weeks ago. Ain't that awesome?
