I just got one of the longer versions of this rifle. It has a grooved receiver to mount the scope on, not the sidemount. The problem is that you have to use very high rings to clear the scope. I used some of the weaver see thru rings (highest I had on hand), and the bolt still touches the scope, and the bolt can't be removed with the scope mounted. I will attest to these things being real shooters. It is my favorite .22 to take out right now.

    Thumbs up

I have both the rifle - TU KKW - and the carbine - TU 33/40. I got them many years ago when Navy Arms was importing them. They are great shooters. They came with sling, clg rod, sight hood and both 5 & 10 rd mags (I got extra mags). Both have the grooved receiver for a top mount scope. I believe the side mounted scope came along later before they stopped importing them.
