    if you do fix it the way to make it look right try making some reduced power lead loads so you can shoot it and be sure no repair will be a waist of time

    In actual fact, it's not the repair process that's got me flummoxed so much as the lack of readily available ammo in the proper bullet weight. Some good 175gr RN flat based projectiles would be ideal. But last time I checked the usual suppliers, nothing!

    The S&B bullet would obviously be a good choice from prior experience, but it seems that's obsolete, too. Bummer.

    There's an FN49 in 7mm that's waiting for some loads on the opposite end of the spectrum. So one of these days there apt to be a flurry of activity. But there's other projects ongoing right now.

    if you do want to cast some bullets lee makes a 175gn mold if you gas check you can get factory velocities
