M1 Carbine Trigger Group Disassembled and Labelled

Hope some might find this of use, below the picture is a link to an old war department movie providing excellent detailed explanation of the function of the trigger group.

The M1 Trigger Group operation movie.

Maybe you should block out that copyright on the bottom.

I think you will find some of that in stickies on this site.

Why? I'm Paul T. McCain and it's my photo.

2x trigger pins. Anyway, the stickies are at the beginning of the applicable section in each case. The Carbine section doesn't have this one. Just the trigger group as a whole.

Good catch, thanks. Funny, I did the labels again to use the correct nomenclature and left this off.

I'll fix it and load up a new version.

Let me know if you notice anything else.

I do not have the pin used to put it into the receiver on the M1, but I figured that might be considered part of the non-trigger group parts.

OK, fixed the labelling and also adjusted the histogram on the digital image to make it "pop" a bit more. What do you think?

I'd be honored if a forum owner deemed this worthy of "sticky" status.

I was just going to say, can we move this over?
