    1911a1

what would the value difference be between 2 Remington Rand 1911's from 1944? One has the SA in front of the serial number and one doesn't.

The SA on the right front of the receiver normally indicates a rebuild. It would just depend on whether the SA marked pistol is a rebuild and the other is not as not all rebuilds are marked, and the difference in the condition of the two pistols.

Johnny only the one has the SA mark on the right front of receiver. They are equal in appearance and i can't tell if anything has been replaced on the SA one or not. Is there a big value difference between them because of the stamp?

Assuming that the pistol with the SA is a rebuild and the other is totally original and correct, if both are in 90/95% condition the original pistol would probably be worth 65/75% more.
