    Composite target

Here is a composite target sorta like what Steve discussed above, but it was not used for group analysis. This is the backer target from a Vintage Bolt Match that I fired a few years ago with an as-issued K31 and cast bullets. There are 34 rounds in the target. The course of fire was the US CMP "Garand Match "A" course: up to five sighters (I used 4 and they are indicated); 10 shots prone slow fire (10 minutes); ten shots standing to prone rapid fire (70 seconds); and ten shots standing slow fire (ten minutes).

This scored 289-5X and was enough to win the match. This is not my "personal best" with the K31, but it is my personal best with cast bullets and the K31 in a match.

    Resp'y,
    Bob S.
