    ZQ prefix on 1956 No4MkII?

    Could someone enlighten me as to the manufacturer or details of a '56 No4 with a serial number prefix of ZQxxx please. Cant find anything.

    Saw that add today too, called the guy, and it's a build up of parts. The No4Mk2 rebuild I've got has an odd number too, because the bodies wern't numbered at all, hence it's just what they made it when they registered it.

    lawrance ordnance did some, but the parts (barrelled receivers, brand new/unused ) were also around at that time, as was the wood(new/unused). I didn't ask who built his, but it doesn't matter really.

    Could be very worthwhile, looks like a reasonable deal for a rifle with only 500 rounds through it, dies and everything, brass, projectiles, sling etc... provided it shoots
