Hello all,

Here it is. I got got for less than the price of a Mosin if you figure the price of shipping. Looks to have spent some time in India... I will show you some pictures and tell me what you can. The bore was very nice on it, which was a surprise. Aside from pulling a few patches through it and a wipe down of grease, I have not really cleaned it up much. The front handguard is broken and had the ears cut off for some reason, it appears to have been that way for some time. The rear of the forestock as a crack in it also that will need to be addressed as well. Here are some pictures, of they are too large, I can re-size them.

Although it appears the evidence was scrubbed, any evidence of when originally manufactured?

Nice rifle. Tough to say for sure what it is/was. Going by the serial number and the smaller inspection mark on the left side of the knox form (below the Indian one) a guess would be Enfield around 1916.

Any idea on whatever the HS11 on the bottom of the barrel is?

Likely a steel batch number.
