    L39A1's register

Does anyone keep a register for the L39 rifles as they do with the Enforcers? Are there fakes or replicas being reproduced as there appears to be with the enforcers?

I have a list of recently destroyed L39's

    A list does exist!
Post the numbers and we could start a known "destructed list"
Does seem a shame that in theses times, when the MOD are trying to save as much money as they can that they cannot sell them to make a bit of money!

Perhaps they could give them away if they don't want them!.
    Why do they destroy them?.

As Harold McMillan said many years ago, '........politics dear boy, politics'. I'll post the numbers when I'm able to. But in the meantime, do fake L39's exist? Are people faking them?

Not seen any yet that I know of, but with the sale prices going up, some people might get tempted!

I haven't seen any deliberate fake L39s...... yet...... but I'm sure they'll appear as prices creep upwards.

Trouble is, in UKicon, loads of dealers advertise any old 7.62mm barrelled No4 as "L42", "L39" or "Enforcer", and many punters seem happy to believe them.

What's an L39 worth these days. Were any scoped? Pecars? No32's?
