    With thanks to member Bullseye4mkI*, some research documents and new content about the history of Long Branch has been been added to the Knowledge Libraryicon.

    His grandfather (1906-1998) was a long time executive at Long Branch (and other entities) from 1940-1970.

    - Graduated with Honors from University of Toronto - Poli Sci/Economics 1930
    - Joined Dominion Small Arms Factory 1940
    - Assistant Secretary-Treasurer of Small Arms Ltd. 1942-1946
    - Head of Accounting-Finance, with later added responsibilities for labour relations and personnel Small Arms Division of Canadianicon Arsenals Ltd. 1946-1957
    - Asst./Acting Division Manager 1957-1970

    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.  Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.
