    My first GI 1911A1 (pics)

    Just arrived yesterday, an Ithaca, 1944 manufacture I believe. My second GI gun actually, I had a 1911 arsenal rebuild I bought in 1975, long since sold.

    Nice, thanks for sharing the pics. I have looked at a few WWII vintage 1911's at a very huge local gun store. I have alway's liked them a lot, I just haven't the knowledge to pick one out yet that's in good shape, and has the correct parts. I have to do my homework first before I decide to get one of them. Nice pic's, your's looks like it's in good shape.
