    Chiappa/Citadel Model M1-22

Owners and potential buyers may wish to read about a few issues these carbines are having.

That's good info. I guess we'll have to give it a pass until the bugs are gone.

I hope it's not Riverbank Armory or an affiliate. George, or someone he hired, has been casting dogleg hammers and stamping GI markings on them. Selling them on Gunbroker and Ebay at collector prices. Note the mold marks they didn't machine off this one.

I wish someone would make a quality one of these M1icon Carbines in rimfire here in the US. I would not give 15 cents for anything made by Chiaapa. The bugs cannot and will not be worked out of them unfortinately..That is my opinion of them and anything else made by them. JUNK

If a Company like Ruger or maybe Smith & Wesson would come out with something like this made of high quality they would sell very well in my opinion. I would buy one.

Ruger already has the best selling .22 rimfire in the country in the 10-22. I don't see them making one.

PLastic! Ugh, I'll just keep my Ruger 10-22. It has been faithful friend for almost 40 years.

Too bad too. My local shop finally got a couple in and they're cute. I just don't want to wade into something that won't work. I'll put thousands through it, some guys won't. Maybe the light use ones will work OK...
    Regards, Jim
