Bob, And why are not a CC member yet?. Thanks, I'll let you know. John ------------ Rustship, Do you know how many hours of sleep I lost the night before? I was torn between facing the possible bid war or going for it. I figure at worst it cost me 10% more then going to battle and maybe losing it. I'm sorry you didn't get it , but not that sorry. thanks, John

John, Of all the hobbies I've had over the years, this one seems to be staying at the top of the list now. I find it really interesting, and am starting to spend more and more time researching these guns. It's been a while since I read up on the CC information, but I think I need to review it and make the move. Thanks, - Bob

Once I saw it go to 3700+, I knew it was only a day from selling with BIN.

TenOC, It all boiled down to supply and demand in this case. I know I have not seem many nice ones around. When you think about how all those Americans and companies ,some who had no clue to building a weapon, did what was needed for the war effort, it makes you feel humble. John

See the IP down on page 1.

And the stock is a war time replacement as it's just marked IR.

Or the carbine could have been rebuilt at an overseas Depot.

John, Many thanks for the time and effort you have put into communicating with us. It's a great forum, and a terrific bunch of guys. When you have time, I'd be very interested to see how your small parts line up with these. Cheers. Mike.

Hi Mikey, I hope to have it by the end of next week. I will strip it down and clean everything up. Once I do my CC sheet I will take some photos. I have never had reason to posted a photo on this forum, but will give it a try. I'll cry Uncle if I have a problem. The vast majority of members are more then willing to answer questions and help out. This is great, as some of the questions are just not in the books. I know all are worried about the scam artist, but knowledge can help put a crimp in their activities. Carrying on History ranks very high up with me. John
