    Thumbs up 7.62x39mm Tracer

I recently purchased a case and a half of Czechicon 7.62x39mm tracer ammo. The stuff that Lever Arms has for sale. It comes packaged 1520 rds to a case. It's the same wooden case that's commonly seen holding 1120 rds of ball on chargers.

I've had the chance to fire aprx. 80 rds so far. Of the 80 only one has failed to light. They're a nice, bright red colour and are clearly visible in bright sunlight out to 500m (and beyond). At twilight, they're quite beautiful, especially when you have two rifles going and manage to get 6 or 7 rds in the air at the same time.

Including the shipping, it worked out to about $.24 each. Quite a bargain, IMO, and I'd give this ammo two thumbs up.

NOTE: Be very aware that this ammunition may start fires downrange, so don't say you weren't warned!
