Aragorn, why don't you invest in a box of Hornady 6.5x52 ammo thats factory loaded with .268'' bullets.
You cipher correctly! And, yes, the Hornady factory ammo is quite good in rifles with good bores. Not horribly expensive in the grander scheme.

My plan is to get a set of reloading dies, then shoot out the two boxes of Privi P that I have and put proper size bullets in it.

Nothing wrong with that Aragorn. ATM, Graffs has Hornady .268 dia. ''blemished'' bullets on sale for 18.00/100 IIRC. Bought a couple bags myself, nothing wrong with them just a bit tarnished.

    Veni, vidi, Carcani!

    At last!

    Thanks, Mods! Thanks, Badger!

    My Armaguerra has a home!

Miss Vetterli is dancing in the corner and wants her pictures HERE for the world to admire. (The long Vetterlis do not approve of her somewhat-boistrous exhibitionist phase! They excuse it only because she is such a youngster - 1892.)

The 91s will be happy, as will the '41. And the 6,5 38s.

The VVs will be able to recall AOI with all their friends worldwide.

This is truly a GREAT day!

Me too JM, also seems we've been on the hunt about the same length of time. Nothing but Bubba left overs so far. Liberty Tree has/had a couple but I don't like to buy anything I can't do a hands on inspection of either and $500 seem like a lot for a Carcano IMO, rare or not. One day maybe........................
