    Ross floor plates and mags

Hello. I have a bubbaed ross m10 that i would like to swap the floor plate and mag for that of a markII. Are the parts interchangeable. I would love to get a more streamlined appearance, 280 ross look, with this rifle. IT IS NOT a cannidate for restoration.

The problem is the MkII or 1905 action is double stack mag, whereas the 1910 or MkIII is single stack. There is a lot of confusion over terminology, because there were so many variations, but we try to stick to the rule that the "M10" refers to the .280 sporting rifles, despite the fact that it says "M10" on the receivers of the MkIII rifles. Confusing I know, but there's a lot that is confusing about Rosses.
