    1944 K98k Code BYF ... great pawn shop find !!

    byf 44 K98kicon. All matching down to the firing pin. Original finish and mirror bore. Nice original sling was on it also.

    Nice "reference" K98kicon!

    But finding these useful photos in this thread later on might be tough.

    Maybe a better titile would include "1944" and "bcd". (added to the "tags" for whatever that's worth. Haven't quite figured out how to make good use of 'em.)

    Title changes are a bother. Badger might be able to help. The tags are generated automatically, but if you think to insert your own selection before the initial post, you can have some variation. But I generally don't remember in time...

    Usually, it wouldn't be a big deal, but your rifle and photos seem to be worth the trouble for future referral! This site is particularly good about having threads which, if able to be found, provide useful info years afterwards.
