A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I appreciate the humour but harking back to thread 13 for a re-read, I think someone ought to go back to the seller and ask him where he got that exact idea from or did anything in particular prompt him because it is just tooooooo similar to the actual (and looks reasonably well done too from the picture) to be some spur of the moment garage hacksaw jobbie......... Just my thoughts.

What about one of you Kiwi's having a chat with him. It might be that he's seen a survivor at Ngaruawahia or Waiouru and thought........
