Savage Lee Enfield Manufacture Date

Hello everyone, I am a long time reader and now a poster. I have a No 4 Mk I* with the serial 57C29## and no date. All the metal parts with the exception of the bolt assembly are Savage marked. The rear face of the bolt handle is stamped with the rifles' serial number and the sight is the original 2 position type. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me the year of manufacture.
