    No8 bolt head Needed

I've posted this on a couple sites and got a couple leads that I've followed up.The following here is much brader so here goes.

Need a No8 bolt head complete to help a young shooter out. I've got the complete bolt body however no bolt head assembly. I Would take a bolt head bare if available as i have a source for a firing pin.will check headspace once I get a head. Any leads greatfully appreciated. Ron (Canadaicon) PS I've tried P Laidler and Brian Dickicon...great guys however don't have the required part.

I don't know where you are but you could try Phil Rose at pjrcollectables@hotmail.co.uk, however I am not sure if Phil sends this sort of part outside the UKicon. Good luck

I'm in Canadaicon...any help on this would be appreciate. Can't see any reason preventing a private citizen mailing a stripped down part. I'll deal with any headspace issue once I get the bolt head. Thanks, Ron

Ron - the problem is that in the UKicon the bolt head is classed as one of the 'pressure parts' (the same as the action, barrel and bolt) and hence needs an FAC (firearms certificate) or an RFD licence (Registered Firearms Dealer). The problems to sell / ship would be the same as for a complete rifle.
I started this life with nothing and so far have managed to keep most of it.

ha Peter.... If I need a new bolt head ..... they now come in 3 sizes ..... short butt .....normal butt ..... and........ long butt ,
many repairs now end up with an exchange for a "New" rifle..
