Brand new ones are pretty expensive here too, more than I would want to pay. They look nice but there's no history.

Patience is a definite virtue in this hobby. It can take a long time but I've been successful on most items I'm seeking. It took over a year for one particular bayonet but that's the longest.

I agree with you, no history at all in brand new Ka-Bar.
Anyway I had shown the one on sale at Gunbroker to an Italianicon friend and he wanted his for himself.
I am looking for a better Ka-Bar keeping checking at ebay.
    Thank you again.

BTW I payed the item on Sept. 26th and till now I did not receive any USPS tracking number yet as I had agreed so I presume the seller did not ship yet.
Should another week go without any shipping info I will ask for a chargeback to my VISA customer service.
