Exclamation Announcement: SURPLUSrifle.com is closing due to owner battling cancer.

You can read about it here: http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting...tbullet/10.asp

Milsurps.com is not in any way affiliated with Surplusrifle.com, but there is a wealth of info there that will only be available until March 30, 2007.

Now is the time to print off your favorite articles, or better yet, buy the CD rom with all the site content they are selling for $5.

On behalf of the milsurps.com staff, I extend our heartfelt condolences to Jamie Mangrum and wish him the best in his battle with cancer.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... Great fellow, great site, I took the liberty of posting, on surplusrifles, a link to this site. I downloaded all the assembly and disassembly files today.

This is indeed very sad, Jammie was kind enough to try one of my techniques and use it in his forum. His sight is some of the best reading on the wire. My prayers to him and his family-SDH

The whole shebang. Jonesboy will take over as I write this. The server is being moved today. I understand that Florida Gun Works has bought the rights to the articles on "How too" from the old site. They will still be free to view and download,or you will be able to buy a CD from FGW. The site was to die in March when the contract with the server company ran out. We all donated several thousands of dollars to purchase a new server and all the goodies needed to keep the site site up and safe from hackers. The new chat room is also up and working. You are all invited to come on in and chew the fat. Please fell free to post over on SURPLUSRIFLE also. We love new guys.
If anyone is having issues with their rifles contact me via email and I will get the answers you need.
I sometimes have lots of rifle parts. When that happens I'll post them there and on this site. I can send parts to Canadaicon from work on the cheap.
