    WW1 Colt 1911 - Original?

Just picked up this 1911 and was hoping to get some opinions on whether or not it is original. I know the 42' holster is too late. Decent amount of blue remaining along with a decent amount of wear but not abused. Appreciate your comments good or bad. Hope I did ok.

Nice pistol. I am not seeing a problem. Finish looks original. Slide is correct for the serial number. I do not have references handy to double check if the barrel is period regarding orientation of the H and P, but looks like a good pistol. Holster would be correct in a way since the pistol could have beeen issued with it later in its service history.
