Lou it is easier than measuring the butt length just look at the butts in my picture -see how long the butt is behind the cheek piece on the butt plate butt the length is much longer ehereas the butt pad stock is much shorter behind the cheek piece.



To be honest -- these rifles are probably behind many rifles in that one lockup and I don't really want to move them all right now.

Lou....overall length. A) Curved Plate 14" B) Flat 1" Pad 14.5". Parker Hale cut .5" off and installed a pad. Hard to find either a PH buut plate or a pad. Could go with a red decelarator pad. Yous looks to be set up for a pad. Ron

Thanks guys. Actually Terry you are right, I spoke to quickly; just the look of the left side of the butt stock is enough to tell! I think mine is either exactly like your padded one, or maybe 1/2" longer. I will likely start looking for a butt pad. Anyway my shoulder could use it these days.
