Mod. 28 Finn I would like to add a scope

What I would like to do is add a reproduction scope and mount that would appear close to original for this model rifle. I do not want it to look like Bubba got a hold of it!! But I do want to hunt with it and my eyes are getting old, any suggestions.

On the very few Original Finn sniper Mosin Nagants what scope was used?? I am 60 years old and this Rifle will never be sold, I would like to add the scope strictly for my own enjoyment. I'm not taking a hand drill to mount it, I want it mounted by a Pro. I need to know what type scope the Finns used, did they use a PU or I think the other WW2 scope being used on an MN would have been a PE type scope. I need some input from some of you guys that have studied the Finn rifles and know what was used.

As I remember some m28 uses a geco side mount and german scope (busch, zeiss, ajack) sadly the repro geco mount could be hard to find (I think was made long time ago by some gunboards member)
Finns never uses PU scope. Some m39 uses the russian top mount and PEM scope (you can find repro on ebay (fresh-tea),or maybe you can contact gary cole for a russian made PE)

Fastback, thank you very much for your help, now to start looking for that repro side mount. If anyone knows where to find one I would appreciate the help very much.
