Second pic, bottom guy appears to be BAR assistant, but I can't quite tell if that's a M1 Carbine
he's carrying; might be his mag pouch attached under the front left of his BAR ammo belt.

Looks like a carbine barrel with a bayo lug to me. If we're talking about the first guy there. I see the other guy by the jeep that looks like it might be a carbine on his shoulder.
Now what kind of a vehicle is that? It looks too wide to be a Jeep. Is it a dodge power wagon type?

I love those, but you don't see them as much as the Jeeps. I remember seeing one in the movie, "The Great Raid". While they were moving out, I believe the Capt. got into one.
