    Ishapore scope mount

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a scope mount that is d&t like the parker hale rail mounts for an ishapore. I have an old friend that has failing eyes and ask me to mount a scope on his so that he can keep shooting it. I have already suggested the no gunsmith types such as s&k but he wasn't real hot on the idea. I got a weaver with the 3/8 tip off base but was looking for something that is a little better and would take a regular weaver scope ring. Any help would be great.

I've seen Millett d&t mounts for both the No.1 and No.4 rifles but don't think they're currently in production.

eBay has one for the Ishapore that replaces the complete rear site bed. ($78) I thought that was a great idea but decided to make one that mounted in place of the sight ladder using key stock drilled a tapped and affixed by nut and bolt through the sight ladder hinge pin holes. I removed the sight leaf spring screw and replaced with one that secured the key stock to the sight bed. After that it is drill and tap for your choice of rail. Cost me about $5 and couple of hours and can be converted back to stock in 5 minutes. The mount is rock solid and is out of the way of loading and bolt operation.
