Type 1 rear sight - real or repro?

Any thoughts on the authenticity of this rear sight?

I believe this to be real. However, there are a few guys here who can glance at these and be able to tell better than I.

That one is a tough call for me. If it is a fake, its a darn good one. Milling looks correct.

As Jim mentions, tough call. I have vertical milling marks like those shown on the side of some of my leafs. The edges of the base seem a bit more rounded. And the spring appears to be newer.

The base is suspect, I'm with Jim, if it's fake it is a good one. Base looks too rounded.

Is it possible that it's been a put together? Fake base but real top? That way most people would look at the machine marks and go for it?
    Regards, Jim

Thanks all for the input. The "similar threads" tool here is also extremely helpful. The journey continues.
