    Thanks for the kind words. I'm not sure why it is deemed "odd" that some referenced sources in the book appear on this forum from time to time? I know of at least two who are regular contributors here.

    I saw that book in shotgun news this am , had no clue he was a forum member , i have to order 1 i have a few garands myself thanx guys, looks like a great book to have if you collect Garands, was just about to order from SGN when i saw this post, small world isnt it ?, thanx for the knowledge and shipping info.

    I live right on the river across from Wheeling WV , in a small village called tiltonsville , not far from Martins ferry, and i saw that other people were in book as well but do not think i know any of them , but was reading SGN yesterday morning during my morning ritual there staring back at me was that book , i thought man thats a nice , informative book , then i saw this thread lol.
    I will most deff be ordering me one but kinda proud its from our forum , that kinda shocked me the source of all that info was on this forun , thats a good thing we know who to ask on our garand ?s lol. Is a good looking book. I got to have 1 now.Congrats to the author and contributers.

    I know exactly where you are. I did some time at West Virginia U and would site see on the trip back and forth allot. I am far up north about 2 hours from you if I speed LOL. Rick boreckyicon
