    Carbine prices?

I'm currently in the market for a collector carbine. I owned a 1944 Inland, but it was a total mix master. I'm now wanting an early version, ie flip sight, no bayo lug, etc. I'm working with about $1,500 as a budget. What are the current prices for all original or at least all correct early carbines? What about M1A1icon's?

I've tried searching gun broker but prices seem to be all over the place.

I recently sold one just like you wanted for $1450 to another forum member. I you are patient and look, you can find one in that range.....

As far as original M1A1icon's be ready to get a second mortgage on your house!

with some patients you could find a nice carbine. I also wanted a M1A1icon but the price is just crazy so I settled for a FNAR and I am glad I did.

Check out Texas Gun Trader too, since I see that you are in Texas. I picked up an early Saginaw for $700 and a mixmaster Inland for about the same. That seems to be the best bet. I was searching for about 2 years though to find the Saginaw.

Stay out of my Texas Gun Trader......LOL. I picked up my Original Saginaw up off there a couple of years ago, face to face with ex-owner. He had an Original Remington Rand 1911 that I should have bought. I guess I was too excited about the Carbine, I wasn't thinking straight.

I bought a six digit inland for $1600 several years back with a broken firing pin. I replaced the firing pin and other than it appears original. I wouldn’t take 5K for it now. Of course I could change my mind, never say never.
