A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hello, Badger...
I happen to have one of these Elgin-Hardinge Mills.
They were used by Saginaw Steering Gear {GM] in 1943 in the manufacture of M1icon Carbines.

I noticed your machine is a lower serial number and it looks like one of the mounting studs broke off and it had to be reattached. Very nice, I like the older machinery. I sold my 1949 Walker-Turner drill press in Sept because I didn't want to move it. Still regretting that sale.

Thankfully I was wrong about seeing another one like it. The milling machine is a very cool piece of WWII history. Also glad the IP plate will now be preserved by those who appreciate it.
