Can't say as I blame the Emperor for going. Washington is falling all over China since they hold so many US Treasury Notes. Imagine the Emperor is getting the feeling that Obama may throw Japanicon under the bus to keep the Chinese happy. Last thing any nation wants to hear is Obama saying "I've got your back".

An, at long last, official apology for Pearl Harbor might go a long ways toward a long lasting friendship.

An apology?! I don't think he will provide such. Much more likely we would be expected to provide one for Japanicon and the reverse!

The attack on Pearl Harbor was over 67 years ago and the United Statesicon kicked their butts nearly back to the stone age as a result. The war is over, I see no reason why he can't come and pay his respects.

    - change it back -

If you look at history we didn't win the war by a very big margin in either theater, and we didnt just kick butts, we took alot of butt kicking also. Took 3 years to get ready for D-day and almost a year to start island fighting that would have ended up on the main land Japanicon if it wasnt for the A bombs, the marines would have been there till hell froze over or untill the vets from Europe made it over to Japan to help. So it was far from a stone age butt kicking. Thank God and Thank John Garandicon
