Curious About Aim Surplus's current Swedish K31's

Hi...I'm new to the forum. Probably should have joined before making my purchase that is in route to me now....I usually do my research first.... but, I made an impulse buy on a Swedishicon K31icon in Walnut....best of five pick from Aim Surplus. Anybody made recent purchases of same rifle, to be able to tell me good or bad about what you received from Aim Surplus? Thanks in advance!

Still GP 11 around. I have not looked lately as to price or inventory. Aim Surplus,Sportsmans Guide,Samco Global,Graff & Sons would be a few places to check. Looking forward to your impressions once your K-31 hits the door.

Ohhhhhh Boy.....picked up my first C&R K31icon yesterday from a local FFL gunsmith in Marietta, GA. Amazingly he only charges $13 to do a transfer! In his opinion....it was the BEST K31 w/ matching serial numbers that he had transferred for some one. This was purchased from Aim Surplus last week, walnut, best of five......just beautiful with bright bore. PICTURES later today :-) :-) :-)
PS: The only thing I was not crazy about is the dot-dot-dot matrix import print on the top rear action. Is this the normal practice?

No, that is not normal practice. First time I've ever seen an import mark there and I can't think of a worse place to put it. Mine is very faint on the end of the barrel.

Sacrilege yes ,deal killer no. The ugly import mark while painful will likley be more than offset by the preformance of the rifle. Photos coming?

He posted photos on a new thread. That import mark would be a deal killer for me. It has to be one of the worst that I've ever seen and it is in the most noticable place it could be.

Steeling myself up for a look. Any import mark on a K31icon is disfigurment. Here goes.

That was painfull. Cant miss that one. Still a great rifle for $300 concidering a plastic stocked modern bolt rifle would cost more at Walmart. If I did not own one I would buy it but I would be on the lookout to move up to one without a canker sore on top of the reciever. Who is the importer AIM?

Why do I think the ATF changed the regulations on import marks? Didn't they change the requirement on font size and location to twist our ninnies? My M1895 revolver is marked up to the point of obnoxious just like this rifle.
