Vlaue of a functioning 1938 Lyman Alaskan

First of all I know it is worth what ever someone will pay. However, being retired/out of work, as I reduce my collection I need to get near maximum value from what I sell. This scope was mounted on a No.4 Mark I* which was eligible for the CMPicon sniper rifle matches. I never shot a match, but I did fire the rifle and scope numerous times at the shooting club I belong to. It was very accurate considering the rifle, surplus ammo and my questionable eyesight.

The scope has the post and cross-hair reticule. The glass is amazingly clear, no scratches and no fogging. It comes with Weaver steel rings, which I believe are period correct.

    Any assistance will be appreciated.
