Looking for a real colt 1911A1

For those that also trawl the 1911forum this will be almost a repeat. With a recent death in the family in April and though I did not inherit a huge gun collection but the next best thing and now I'm seeking to invest in a real Colt WW II 1911A1 to drown my sorrow. It's always been a goal that always has been out of reach until now. It was suggested I should contact Scott Gahimer as he can help with his invaluable experience. Though I know a lot of you on this site also can be of great assistance as well. I humbly wait your advice.
