New Video First Run M1907 Forming Dies and Photos of Rock Island Arsenal Drawings

Uploaded Photos of Rock Island Arsenal Drawings of the M1907 Sling and M1907 Modified (Browning Automatic Rifle Sling) Took awhile to dig these up.

Also two part video of me (no actor, wife says don't quit my day job), forming the M1907 Frog/Hooks.

Richard Turner Forming the first production run of the M1907 Sling Hook Forming Die. 02AUG14 Part I

Richard Turner Forming the first production run of the M1907 Sling Hook Forming Die. 02AUG14 Part II

Rock Island Arsenal Drawing No. 7137567 Hook, Gunsling
Original Drawing Date 20 Nov 1950 For Sling, M1907/This Drawing Supersedes all Previous Drawings.

Upon comparing the finished part against Rock Island Arsenals Drawing, the part was dead on within the minimum/maximum tolerances specified by Rock Island. Another Outstanding job by Lumpkin Tool & Die LLC

Looks like a very nice product, just out of curiosity will the WW I brass hooks be coated black as the originals?

We can blacken the brass on request. The chemical blackening is as original per Mil Spec, but wears easily.
