Era and value of these wool trousers?
My best guess is '40s but I'm not convinced. I'm mostly looking for the era of production but a value would be helpful as well. They have a button fly and handshake union made label. No other labels are intact.

Couldn't resist this one, but I am trying to help honest...............Dedrick are you saying these purport to be an ex Military pair of dress trousers?
If so, regardless of nation, if they are military issue, they should have a label at the very least stiiched in the band, with a stock number and military sizing label on it, or if they are an early pair, stamped ink which I think I see on the open flies image. This helps the storeman to issue the right sized pair and make a gap on his shelves.

Not really following you, Gil.
Yes, they have the ink stamp but the label is long gone. I was hoping for a diagnosis by the features: button fly, 1891 union label, etc. Do you have an idea of age?

40s to 50s is my guess looking at the buttons and the v vent at the rear if that helps and possibly officers.
