Some Serious Stake Marks

I thought some of my receivers had "heavy" stake marks but these on one of the auction sites must be a record!!

Your not kidding!
Maybe the guy was just a horrible shot and kept adjusting/staking?
Eventually getting the sight so loose that he also had to punch the lower base to help tighten the sight's base.

I wouldn't be surprised if he'd find he has a bent barrel.

I have a feeling that someone was using the punch to try and tighten up a rear sight in the dove tail.
