    my favorite SA rebuild

This is one of my favorite SA rebuilds, I like the markings, the POD rebuild stamp (stock came from Rick the Librarianicon) the early serial number (barrel is SA 2 -18). Not worth a lot but still a favoriteAttachment 55891Attachment 55890Attachment 55889Attachment 55892

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. My favorite Rock Island rebuild

Rock Island serial number 3576 with a Springfield 1910 dated barrel. I was going to use a S marked hanguard without the clips but the wood was too dark for a match to the stock.
All the blued parts such as the trigger guard, bands, buttplate and rear sight base were found at gun shows over the years and saved. The stock came from a vender who purchased a large amount of wood from RocK Island years ago. The receiver came from the CMPicon auction and I liked the color. Just could not find an early blue bolt yet.Attachment 56068Attachment 56067Attachment 56069Attachment 56070
