A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I'd call that 'Silly Money' spent for a IP receiver.

Jim--Irwin Pedersen was spelled correctly on receiver, that was correct and rear sight is real rear sight of ww2 vintage

You know, that was my first thought. But then I got to thinking that anybody who can afford to shell out $4,350 for something of which he/she has minimal, if any, real knowledge is probably not a complete fool. Maybe just so many more dollars than 'cents', or two bulls butting horns to win at any cost. It is kind of disgusting but I bet 'Jack' is a real happy camper.
