New no 32 scope replicas from china?

I looked to see if someone had posted on this yet concerning the new MKI scopes coming from china on ebay. did not see a thread.

so they have posted pics of the scope in parts. looks real nice. they say they are built to spec of the original scopes. but once bitten kinda thing. and i would love the real deal but spend that kinda of money on modern scopes and rifles.

just search no 32 scope on ebay.

i have a replica scope on my T but the houseing for the turrets is little loose now and will not hold zero.

i was wondering if any one here had bought one and had an opinion from shooting with the new replicas.

I have an opinion on the replicas that I have made clear on several occasions. But basically it's this Mr Bungle. Save twice, buy once............

Please don't take this observation the wrong way mrbungle but I see you have already bought one repro scope which is now unserviceable & I get the impression you are contemplating buying one of these new batch now? Maybe I'm being really dim here, but mightn't it be worth considering saving a little longer & getting a real one & have it last forever, as well as make you a profit when you do finally come to sell it?

Seriously, if these repro scopes don't last it is surely a false economy to keep buying them.......

The scope as sold by SARCO, EGUNPARTS and others can be repaired if the turret body is loose on the tube. This normally happened when the scope was forced into the mount.
I'd stay away from the scope currently being sold on "that auction site" for the present. They might get better, but I've already repaired two of them and not having any parts available and having to make parts is not fun. This scope is not finished to look like a No. 32 and I believe they state they are not trying to do a copy that could be mistaken for an original.
The old batch of scopes were from different makers and once you got the hang of them they are not bad to work on.
I have a few of the old repro scopes that I have stripped for parts so all is not lost: some parts are available.
The old crop of repro scopes are NOT a milspec scope and NEVER will be, but reasonably comparable to any Tasco or lower priced scope of the Bushnell line.
Most people that repair scopes are not fussy in repairing any of the repro scopes, or just will not touch them PERIOD. With no parts available: you break it and you are caca in the eyes of the owner.
