Ive had this for awhile and 2 other memebers said Inland never posted anything about there operation, so i already know what there going to say.

That's not what was said. Those two pages on the M1 Carbine provide no info that hasn't been known for many decades and reprinted numerous times.

I know it had to be a 1, i look up Inland site in wikkpedia and it list the month and year according to the SN,

So where is this alleged "list the month and year according to the SN" page.

Did you even read the thread where this started wirth the SN and the dates, if not go find it, and it was pulledled from this site, or your just putting in your negativity, i just the posted the source when they ask where there numbers came from....if you like it then great, but do some homework? I wish you found this awhilele back and went through every link first knstead of the firsf page

It was a good post imntxs564... I knew most of it, but I saw a couple of WWII products from Inland I didn't know about.

Brian has probably forgotten more than I'll ever know about M1 Carbines.... He knows SO much I think sometimes he forgets there are knew carbine enthusiasts who are trying to learn.

I read everything, I also remember a lot of what I read. I know that Inland never published a serial number chart that shows the date when each was manufactured. The closest they came to anything resembling such were their test reports. I also know there is not an accurate serial number to date chart available on any web page. If you have found one tell us when serial number 4,975,365 was made.

Well good for you Brian, what are you trying to prove, you know more than everyone. ..i just started in July....why do you act like this ?. Be cool about it and tone it down and help like others do without your attitude. Frank
