Looks like a good clean rifle. Check for a frosted bore. Around here, northern Ohio that rifle could go as high as $900 but $650 to $700 is about the norm.

I don't bid on reserve auctions, because I don't play games. Either start the price at the least you will accept, or don't waste my time.
Who is he to tell me that the rifles are collector items, when he doesn't even know enough to describe the markings on the small parts? (They should be R or RP.)
I suspect that all the stocks are replacements. The first one appears to be unmarked, the others appear to be more banged up than the metal, & I would want to see cartouche close-ups. I just wouldn't feel comfortable bidding on any of them.

I agree with Neal spot on if you are going to bid on it stay to your max price you are willing to part with do not get sucked into a bidding war, thus ends the lesson.
