    M1 Sling that was offered to me, since i was WTB

    Original WW2 US 1944 s M Co Webbing Sling for M1 Garand Mint Crisp | eBay

    A little help...This person has message about 4 times about this sling he willing to sell me. Im new to WW2 Sling, i have 1 dated and know it was from Korea and 2 Vietnam era ones , but this one ? I was reading about the slings here, but there older post. And was looking for WW2 and he was offering me this, now this guy came out of nowhere to message me about this one. Im still wondering how he got a hold of me, Thanks

    Note: I was reading every post on those older threads about slings, but were crom way back, but did pick up so information.

    Frank, you do know this sling is not for a carbine but for an M1icon Garand.

    Yes....i did, but im startind to collect slings, my brother in law is italian and married to my wifes sister and gave me 2 very nice Italians slings...i just always ordered all types so i thought i do some fact finding and start buying a few. Thanks

    It's a flat slider sling, the earlier of the canvas types. I've heard of them going for as much as $100 US but not what he's asking...

    Yes, I would steer clear of the above mentioned sling as well. Not just because of the price either.

    I was wondering if it might be a Danishicon copy. I've seen flat slider slings accompanying Danish returns here in Canadaicon. The web looks different and so does the color of the finish on the slider...
