Nice rifle. The bayonet is Korean war era. A WW2 Bayo would have the hole that fits over the muzzle instead of the pin that fits in the gas plug.

Nice rifle, yes, the M1 or 1905E5 bayonet would be better. Also a 1907 sling or at least a flat slider sling...

The last I knew the CMP still had a selection of Bayos for sale. both the original 10" and also some cutdowns I have one of each. The original 10" and both a spear point and a drop point cutdown and 2 17 inchers.

Yes, the bayonet is a korean era, it belongs to my 1954 HRA,
What is cool is that a WWII rifle that has its origional barrel with low readings.

Your Oprod is wrong. Should be a flat sided -9 SA with NO cut on the unit.
I beleive the stock should still be a NFR cartouche. All items can be easily corrected.

It seems the bolt was also stuck in a time warp!
